This book was recommended to my husband, a beginning pine needle basket maker. He has 3 or 4 other books, but has gotten more helpful information and good ideas from this book than any of the others. The photos are great and the instructions easy to understand.
The photographs are wonderful! Plenty of different techniques for adding binding and not have it show. The project concept makes the learning easier.

Very educational book for beginners! The books describes all different stitches, techniques and many different types of pine needles. There are excellent photos AND directions of the different weaving stitches used. We will REALLY enjoy using this book in our process of learning basket weaving!

Great quality. Being a corp trainer who walked ppl thru changing out computer parts, step by step, I found the instructions and pics just okay. I was trying to follow along in my mind and just could not picture what the instructions were having me do or where they were headed. I will keep the book because there is nice quality, for my library, but was sorry I purchased it in the end.
