As the extended Title says, this is a book on metal toys, figures and miniatures from London. Many are photographed full size, but in black and white. Some color images of period artwork showing toys or furniture that is like the miniature versions found. A thick book, with a lovely Bibliography.If you are interested in historic dolls and miniatures, this is a good book to see.
This book is nice but it isn't what I expected. If you are looking for cute trinkets and things I would look elsewhere. There is a cute site on ebay with Decole now. very, very cute stuff....just search under "decole"
