Leave it to Bruce Spizer and Frank Daniels to find another huge record collecting need and fill it beautifully. Their latest offering is nothing short of a world class publication offering comprehensive and stunning visual insight to an area of collecting that is really considered the "mother of all Beatles records". Indeed, the original UK Albums, EPs, and 45s have long needed to be documented and illustrated properly and completely and now, thankfully, it's been done. After all, Britain is the "mother country and the home of the Beatles" and these records represent our beloved band's recordings exactly as they intended them to be issued,... labels, covers and all. In many ways, these are the world's master recordings and the pressings worldwide are compared to these issues for evaluation on all levels. Therefore, it's altogether fitting that Mr. Spizer and Mr. Daniels have put together a masterful book that will, like all the other 498 productions publications, be the last word on the subject for years to come. For this project, the two noted authors wisely put together and led a highly qualified team of well known long time collectors and contributors that have enhanced the book to the highest level of quality and accuracy. Many of those collectors are noted UK resident as well offering their first hand knowledge on this wonderful subject. This book achieves, if not surpasses the level of quality that the "498" books are well known for. Besides all the priceless and detailed information, yards of which has never been published before, the book is a visual delight throughout.
