This is an excellent reference book with lots of pictures. The back cover says it has over 250 photos and I believe it. It is great for both beginning weavers and more advanced weavers. With chapters like "Steps for Making a Nantucket Basket" to chapters on "Rims"and "Finishing the Nantucket Basket" this book has something for everyone. I have already bookmarked the chapters on "Rims" and "Handles". There are also plenty of helpful "Tips" throughout the book. This is my new favorite reference book!
This is a fantastic book - everything you need to know about making a Nantucket basket from beginning to end. The authors include many of the techniques they teach in their workshops that will help you create a beautiful basket to be proud of! Both beginning and experienced weavers will find this book useful.
I highly recommend this book for anyone interesting in weaving a Nantucket basket. The photos and instructions are clear and easy to follow.
