The book had some nice patterns, but when I tried to zoom into the chart (as the symbols are small) the image was to distorted to read.
I bought this book for a friend who is learning to cross stitch. It isn't a big book or anything, but it is very basic and straight to the point on a lot of things .This book will give you important details on how to start and do it. She really like it and found it quiet helpful. I would recommend this book especially for those beginners in cross stitching.
I was specifically looking for border patterns but there are none in this book. The cover is deceptive. If you want alphabet patterns there are several.
I'm a beginner and this is helping me with the tricks of the trade. I feel my head filling with knowledge page after page after page. Would recommend this for a true beginner.
