I like camping and going on an adventure trip in the wild and I appreciate the role that ropes plays in those trips sometimes it is the thing that saves your life. When my life is at stake I carefully pick up the right gear to use in the wild and there is nothing more important than the ropes in my gear. I have been using Paracord lately because of its strength but I wasn’t aware of all its power. This book helped me to add on to my knowledge. It served to explain more about the physical features of each one, and the different ways I can use it. This book is very interesting and informative.
The books is written as if by a high school journalist class. Juvenile statements of a nature 'let's see what's next.' ' The (name) is explained in the next chapter.' written at the end of each chapter. I planed on turning the page anyway. The book is short (listed correctly as so) but feels like it was just whipped out to make a quick buck. The projects are well described and pictured but few and not very useful.
Paracord is very known for its durable materials and it can be used as many things you want. You can use it for fashionable stuff like the bracelet and even rosary. These are just minor things that we can make from paracord. What I have to learn from this book that this string can also save our life in terms of survival. I was amazed how this string can able to make a variety of things that we can use. We can also use this for health emergencies if no medical attention is forthcoming. For example when a person is involved in an accident that results to a broken arm or leg, we can use a paracord to make a splint serve as a temporary relief.This book also shares the different kinds of paracord and its sizes.The author also explains why we should have paracord survival bracelet because in times of emergency we can use this to save our lives or even the lives of others.Hope to have it more pictures, though.
It's a good reference to know what paracord really is. The author explain things bit by bit making it easy to understand.It gives you a good range of its usage and how to take advantage of it.The instructions are straightforward and concise.A good read for me!
Some if the information here is not bad, but the author should of considered having it proofread by a native English speaker. There are some minor errors, such as insisting that the cobra and Solomon are not the same, when in fact they are. I also wonder why no photos if finished work where included., shame really. Keep at it and bravo for seeing it through!
