This is the first book I have ever bought on the subject of glass. I found it very interesting and very helpful. I had know idea there were so many businesses making glass. Not just plain glass but, gorgeous glass made by artisans. Glass that shimmers and sparkles and catches your eye in the sunlight. So much beauty from a world that in many ways no longer exists. This book made me appreciate my glass collection even more. Some of the book is rather dry reading but, there is a wealth of information here too. If you are a beginner in glass as I am, you will like the Collector's Guide to American Pressed Glass.
I thought there would be more pattern descriptions
Great helpful book!! I like the way the periods are mentioned and the pictures are clear enough to see the patterns.
For what I was looking for it was specific and beneficial. Over all good book. Would have liked more pictures
Good historical information; not as much up to date values for Early American Glass. I understand this in part because it was written several years ago.
