The author James starts off with a very meaty intro full of a lot of good info like: has paved the way to making publishing a book easier than ever. Once written you can sell your book in many forms and on different places. Non fiction is shorter and easier to write, rand and sell. He encourages you to make notes throughout the day on book ideas or things to do concerning your book. Then to end the introduction James gives five action steps in going through this book. Now to the book...He gives so much great information, I'm just going to hit some highlights. He gives a rough schedule of time needed for every stage of the book. He recommends writing about a 15,000 word non fiction book. James gives different methods you can use to create book ideas. Once your sure about your book idea he tells you how to make a pretty elaborate outline of your book. He says it is better to write your intro after writing the book so you know everything that is in it.(makes sense, like all his other ideas) He once again gives step by step directions in writing the body of the book. When written, always be sure to proof read it thoroughly or have someone else do it for you. (he gives sources) Even this authors summary gave more good information, not just recapping. And he ends the book giving a lot of great resources to help a author. James, you have undercharged for this book and over delivered!
If you are interested in learning how to write and publish a non-fiction book than look no further and read this excellent book that will guide you with a step by step approch to realize your dream of becoming a best seller author. The author present his own method of writting a book. The 24 hour process consist of finding the subject to write about (getting the idea), validating your idea, outlining your book, writting your book, proofreading your book, and publishing. For each step the author gives detailed information as well as the tools you will need to do what needs to be done. Each step is well detailed and explain everything you need to know to write your book and stay focus and on task. I like the post-it idea for the outline. He also gives you access to him directly through his facebook page and email address if you have questions. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to become a best-selling auhjor of non-fiction book.
I loved this book! For years I have been thinking of writing for Kindle but never knew where to start.I have no problem with writing good content but I had zero confidence in my tech skills.James made it all so simple that I feel, for the first time, that I can manage it.Not only that, but he has given his readers access to his email address so I know I can call on him if I need to.All this for a ridiculously low price- just pennies. I can't wait to get started.Maureen Moran
James puts some good info in here. If you are playing around with the idea of making some extra cash as an author I would recommend his book. He also give you some great pointers on strategies and ideas on how, once you become an author to get the ball rolling. The way it is laid out tells me this guy has done this before. I guess I will be seeing you on the shelves.
If your passion is writing and you are looking to get rid of writer’s block, gain encouragement, if you need resources or just the blueprint to get your head out of the clouds and your fingers typing, this is the book for you. This inspirational, no-fluff guide to writing and getting published should be a pre-requisite for all authors and authors-to-be.
There are a lot of Kindle Publishing Guides out there. I found this book to be the perfect guide to help me improve my publishing. There are sound and proven strategies contained within this book I will definitely try with my own title.Highly Recommended.
James Green is a superb writer and has the ability to transfer his knowledge in a way that is easily understandable by anyone seeking advise and assistance. I enjoy his writing style and the pages flow easily. I am very happy with my purchase.
This book has a lot of good tips for writing a kindle book. So many that I mindmapped them out to make them easy to use. I particularly liked the method James uses to rate niches. I use software to research niches but his method is easy and IMHO quite accurate. This book also inspired me to start using my phone to become more efficient around getting my house chores done. (Inspired me to find Color Note app and use it for both book writing and for other tasks). His method of visual mind mapping is completely workable and a good way to start your book layout. His method of producing a very detailed outline will help cut the writing time to a minimum. There are more good tips in this book for the aspiring Kindle author.Best of all this book has been edited and proofed. It is one of the most error free books I have read in a long time. Good job James.
