Dave's story is one of a person who ministers in the midst of chronic nerve pain. As someone who daily endures suffering while seeking to minister to others, his perspective throughout this book isn't theoretical. He lives both sides this daily.What is maybe most helpful about Being There is how Dave grounds and grows a better love for those in the midst of pain from the fruitful root of the Gospel.
