My tech school replaced its Dreamweaver textbook with this version by Cashman. This book is more straight forward in teaching Dreamweaver panels and functions. The book answers all sorts of questions a web designer asks when learning to design and develop Web pages. This book has more hands-on-learning opportunities and more explanations about what each element on a Web page is used for. The clear definitions and simple presentation approach make it easy to understand each lesson. This book also makes it easier for the reader to understand what he or she understands and what he or she needs to ask help with.The book answers so many questions that many teachers skip over or do not consider important for a beginning web designer to know. It presents Web pages and Web sites in a logical framework that makes learning easier and much faster.(Dreamweaver the Missing Manual)the previous class textbook, was heavy on technicalities and functions that were beyond beginning students. After reading and re-reading the book I had only a 10% understanding of the function of Web sites and pages.After reading just two chapters of Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 Complete, I have a solid understanding of the planning, structure and functionality of dynamic web pages. Many questions and misconceptions I had with the previous book were cleared up in the first 30 pages of this book.
