I'm a blogger who writes about old and antique toys. If you use those words in a search engine, you'll find me. rules forbid me to ID my website, even though I don't profit from it.The book has black and white photos, but the photo quality is done well. What's great about this book is that it provides the reader with a well-written and researched documentary about this fine American company. Since these toys have not been made for a long time, books such as these do not go out-of-date. What's also good about the book is that you can fin it at a very good price!At the end of the book is a bibliography of books and magazines about Tootsietoys, so that you can research further if you can find these references. All in all, this book is great to have if you are a collector of these toys.

It has a lot of information, above all the history of how the different models were changing on time (half the book), but it lacks bigger pictures since the ones it has are small and black and white and not all the models have pictures either.

This is the clearly written and basic history of Tootsietoys. Every collector needs it. I use it often.
