According to my retailer/buyer this is not the definitive source of such data; however, I found it very helpful in evaluating my collections. Although the data is not completely up to date, it does give me a reasonable estimate of the value for when I do want to actually sell some items. That way, I do not feel totally at the mercy of the retail buyer. I believe this was a good purchase for me.
I would not but this book again. Although it does contain a wealth of pricing information for coins, it is very unpleasant to deal with. It is a tiny book with a spine that does not permit the book to open wide, let alone lie flat. The worst thing is the fonts. Tiny, PALE GREY (seriously) writing, against the white pages makes it very tough to read with any degree of satisfaction.
I love this little book. I bought it for a gift and the recipient likes it very much. It is very difficult to keep books for collectors of coins, stamps, etc. but these types of books do give you an idea of what your item might be worth, the condition it's in and if that would affect a cost. Definitely a nice little volume for a fun hobby. I would recommend it for that purpose to anyone who has a coin collector in the family. Thanks!
Small in size, print is hard to read, the information is not the best. But Ok to make sure you do not sell Paper Money to cheaply or ask too much for them (if Selling)
