I taught Electronics for 50 years, almost before the transistor was invented in 1948. I developed everything I taught from scratch by studying the physicist and engineers. But when my Toshiba crashed, I paid professionals $69.95 just for them to tell them they would have to pull the mother board and that would probably cost $300. Well, wife bought a new computer. Since I am retired (74) I bought Garry Romaneo's book and after I painstakingly removed each screw via his instruction, and with a little luck I fixed it. It's not for the weak minded, but Garry sure knows his stuff. Buy his book, and use it to teach computer repair in a technical school.
