I really love these sorts of books. So, when I saw a huge collection like this, I didn't want to miss the opportunity to get in on the fun. These books teach you everything you need to know from the bottom up on these different topics. I sometimes find it hard learning this sort of skill. However, with the step by step instructions and plenty of pictures I managed to follow along. I always saw other people making beautiful things and never thought that I could do it to. Well, that was until I read through these books!
This was my first book about crochet since I want to start a new hobby and I want to learn it so I can jive with my girlfriend's hobby. The book is good for me as a beginner - it was a good start up book and a foundation. Improve the quality of the pictures.
If you are a beginner in hand sewing like me, then this is a perfect startup guide for you. Hand sewing may appear to be a complicated skill, but this book provides simple instructions that can be easily followed by anyone who is interested to learn. What I like about this book is that the author made it relatable by sharing her hands-on experience with the craft. It would have been better if the photos are high quality; nevertheless, I enjoyed reading the book and trying out some techniques by myself.
A lot of information just in a book. Before purchasing I thought it may contain some basic information but after reading it I’ll have to say, it contains deeper information with lots of illustration. Every steps of needle and fiber work are shown here with pictures. So you won’t face any problem understanding any step. Recommended for you if you wanna learn needle art and fiber art that includes sewing, embroidery, crochet, knitting, granny squares and afghans.
I was asked by Zet Marie to write a honest review. This book is definitely NOT the Ultimate Box Set on Needle Arts. The book's content lacks any real substance and is of a basic/introductory level, but nothing more than common sense. You could easily find articles that would be better than this "box set". I would say you would be better to spend your money else where.
This book is so easy to read and follow the instructions. It has so many great patterns in it, patterns that are very useful and fun to use when finished creating them. They're beautiful enough to keep for yourself or to give as gifts. I will use these patterns over and over. It also has really great stitches and patterns that I didn't know and now I've learned them from this awesome book!
I've always struggled in sewing. There is something about it that makes me feel uncomfortable and despite years of trying to learn how to do it the right way I always seem to not be able to excel at it. I've long given up and have just decided to leave it to the experts or sometimes to my mom. When I saw this book it seemed like something in me compelled me to once again try my hand at sewing and to be able to conquer what used to be a unconquerable task. I guess I was wrong. Sewing is not as hard as I originally thought it would be. I guess I just needed the right book and the right manual to help me get through it. This book is an easy, step by step guide to sewing. It teaches you more than just the basics and actually makes sewing fun! Definitely glad I can do basic sewing on my own now! Can't wait to start doing more complex patterns.
This really is the ultimate guide! No scam here. It’s full of information, tips, images, etc. Everything you want to know about knitting, sewing, and crochet is right here, guys! I am just lucky enough to get it during a free promo, but I wouldn’t mind spending a few bucks on it if I were to start those activities.
