Knitting is way better than I imagine before when I saw my grandma doing this during afternoon, she says it relaxed her. When I tried it, I started to love it. I also learned that soaking your hands in some warm water and using larger needles to create your masterpieces. This book shares awesome pictures which will give you hint and idea of what project you are going to start. I would definitely recommend this book! Great book for beginners, I must say. The instructions are detailed and easy to understand and I love the cool illustrations, pictures and tables that make things a LOT easier than having just plain text as some other guides have. I like the ideas for knitting in the book, I will make myself a laptop sleeve and it will be glorious! Really good guide, this should be an example on how to do a clear and interesting book for beginners.
Great information for those just getting into knitting. All the basics are explained, along with pictures/illustrations to guide you through stitches. There are also links to videos so you can actually see the stitch as it is being done. There are also beginner projects included as well as homework assignments to practice technique. This book is just as the description says, knitting for beginners. I liked how it explained everything about knitting, such as the yarn, needles, and patterns to begin with. The author does a great job of making the steps easy to understand, each one building on the last. Even if you have never picked up a spool of yarn before, there is no need to worry. This book will give you exactly what you need to know to get started.
This is such a brilliant book on knitting! I've always wanted to knit my own hat, but I never really knew how. I'm glad there was a book for beginners and this one came perfect timing. There is an abundance of useful tips for knitting which I've never heard of before but it was great learning these new terms and skills for that matter. This is really a worth recommending book! This is a great book with step by step descriptions. This is really great because it showed me how to start knitting step-by-step. I liked that this book is very easy to understand and act upon. I liked how it explained everything about knitting, such as the yarn, needles, and patterns to begin
I really liked the book. I'm a totally newbie to knitting and this book has helped me a lot by understanding the basics of knitting and the pictures are so amazing to understand the patterns. I started knitting a scarf for my baby which I'm so much excited about. For anyone who is really interested in knitting and really wants to know the basic learning, this book is a great help. This book takes the fine art of weaving one piece of string into hats and scarves and sweaters, and makes it infinitely easy. It takes you from "This is a knit stitch. This is a purl stitch," to "This is how you make a cable-knit sweater," all in a few deceptively easy steps. A lot of useful information so I'd recommend it to someone starting from scratch.
Great book. All the patterns that are mentioned in this book has really clear and vivid instructions which makes it a lot easier for me. Been knitting different patterns for a while and I'm glad I’ll be able to add something new to my collections. Will never get tired of knitting new patterns and give some of my finished product to my loved ones. This book is laid out very well. It takes you from the very basics and explains the tools, yarn, and stitches every beginner needs to know. I really liked the author's personal style of writing. I highly recommend this book to everyone who likes knitting especially for beginners.
Great book. All the patterns that are mentioned in this book has really clear and vivid instructions which makes it a lot easier for me. This book helped me to refresh for when I do get the chance to spend more time knitting. Knitting is a kind of game full of challenge. This is good to all beginners, all patterns is very easy to follow. I've favorite nearly all the sweater patterns in this book, partly because they're lovely and mostly because Amy's helpful sections on altering the base design for my body type will make any of them work for me. If you want to look your best in the sweaters you make, follow her initial advice on determining body shapes and then dive into the fitting notes for each pattern.
This Knitting book for beginners is just so awesome! The book provides a step-by-step guide on the basic knitting stitches that any beginner could simply follow. It also features 10 fun and different basic patterns for practice purposes. Knitting has been my hobby in my early adolescent years. But have taken a break after a long time. When crossed with knitting books like this, my desire to go back awakens. As I flip the pages, I was so fascinated with the different samples of finished products shown here and through the links of the image attributions included. I recommend this book to knitting enthusiasts and those who would like to explore the world of yarns! It's simply fun and interesting!
Not a lot of people know how to knit. I remember my wife how she hated it because she said that it is very hard and fun thing to do. She figure out what to do and it relaxed her. A perfect book for learn knitting, the book have step by stem guidance to learn knitting. The book is awesome and well written and interesting the easy understanding and step by step guidance increase the interest of mine.
