I love the french women and their fashion style,always looking classy. I really enjoyed this book. It was laid out by topic and easy to follow. Good information for anyone who wants to become more of their own style. Book lists ideas that can work for anyone who wants to feel better about themselves in their own skin. Suggestions are easy to follow and how to use what you have to work for you. This book doesn't send you to the mall to spend $$$$ on clothes from high end magazines. Down to earth on simplicity of self improvement.
Got to say, not much information that you probably didn't already know. The author makes the point several times that French women like red lips and beach hair. Okay, but then the book is only .99 so can you really complain about the context?
I love the fact that this writer encourages us women not to be afraid to create our own style.She also tells me that I can be appropriately dressed for any occasion without going broke and that I can indeed be stylish without too much makeup or hair styling products. I didn't know that I could use the clothes I buy to work to my advantage. I hope a sequel of this book comes out soon...
I really enjoyed this book. I was half-expecting to hear some expensive and unattainable advice but instead I found some great practical tips on how to create a stylish look. It’s so easy to be lured in by fashion magazines and store ads and to want the latest style, but all this does is force you to spend lots of money on too many okay quality clothes. This book tells you how to compose a timeless wardrobe and which styles suit your shape. It also offers lots of simple beauty tips. I really love the focus on simplicity and saving money which is the opposite of the advice in most fashion magazines these days.
