This is a must have, if you are a serious American silver collector. The photos of maker's marks is the best feature. This text includes much historical information that you will not find elsewhere. It is an excellent reference.
I had the unexpected pleasure of being able to read this book, and was delighted with it!! I learned a great deal about American Silver. The amount of work and research that went into this book is absolutely amazing.
