This is great study book for beginners like me. I am planning on moving to Germany, but unfortunately I don't speak German at all. This eBook is a perfect tool you can use to learn the basics of german language.The author included some tips to make learning german a breeze. After reading this eBook you will be able to construct a basic german sentence on your own. I find this eBook very educational and the context of this eBook are simple and easy to understand. I highly recommend this eBook to everyone who are planning to move, visit or study in Germany.
I think this is a GREAT book for learning German. I have taught German to high schools with a school-approved text book for many years. I have recently begun teaching adults using this text. It explains topics well; exercises are relevant. One review said that it's not 'useful' German; I disagree. True, it's not a book that will teach you catch phrases if you're traveling to Germany next week (but seriously, English is so prevalent now, that's hardly a real concern), but it is great for teaching the structure and grammar of the language - better than anything else I've seen - if you desire to become fluent.Of note: my most recent student used it in conjunction with Rosetta Stone, and found this text to be very helpful in explaining some of the 'why' and 'how' that are missing from full immersion materials.

This book is an incredible help for all the fundamental discussions and supportive for seeing how the German language functions. This book has helped making the whole stress of learning German easy for me. The book was really good because the author anticipated what a new learner would need and benefit from. Overall, i highly recommended.
This is a very enjoyable book to learn German. There are a number of books in this series, including French, Spanish, and Italian. The only problem is it doesn't have a glossary. You need to buy a dictionary in the language. (I recommend a Larousse!) One of the best German language study books I have read. It has a very simple and easy to understand explanations and great exercises. However, what I like best about the book is the way in which the author links English to its German roots.
It is so exciting to learn some foreign languages. That’s why, I am so glad that I was able to stumble upon this book on German language. I was actually able to discover some fascinating information which I have not learned before. Also, I appreciate how the content is organized as well as some of the explanations included for the convenience of those who are new at learning this language. All in all, this is a comprehensive guide which is indeed suitable for beginners.
I continuously wished to be told German, however it's a really tough language for speaking and understanding.
