My daughter had an unfortunate incident with this version of Mad Libs. She inadvertently offended a Japanese friend while reading her the Samurai story. This definitely made me realize that for certain subjects, we need to issue the caveat that the words we choose should be kept on the positive side.
My sons love madlibs! I really like this particular book because it gives me an opportunity to discuss history with them and they eagerly listen. It doesn't come off as a lesson, but as a discussion. They find it humorous how they alter history with these. From the many we have done, these are well written.
the kids are looking forward to playing with these....and so are the adults!
My 6 year old daughter loves these things! They're fun for me too! And she's learned what nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, plural nouns, etc. are too! Win win!
My grandchildren LOVE these, and it teaches them sentence structure and spelling, as well as reading, while they roll over catching their breath laughing. Ages 7+
LOVE! These are great for kids to learn parts of speech - and they are hilarious! We use these when we go on road trips. Well worth it!!!
