This is a great book for anyone interested in floral design. It is thorough and is appropriate for beginners and professionals alike.
I have tried several books on flower design, and this is one of the best. Very understandable, easy to follow and clear. I am a beginner and it has helped me tremendously. Bought it toghether with "A Master Guide to the Art of Floral Design" by Alisa de Jong, and am very happy with both books, they complement each other well. The pictures are wonderful and they help to get your imagination going.
As an art minor, I dabble in flower arranging but would possible consider doing this when I retire from teaching. This book really provides so much information. It is a complete source of information.I recommend it for anyone with any interest along these lines.
An excellent text book for an accompanying course.Well suited for a hands-on in class text. I wouldn't have minded being told this before purchase.
