The author's constant peppering of her own non medical and uninformed opinions on what is "healthy" is distracting. Otherwise the recipes and history are interesting.

Lovely book to read as well some yummy sounding recipes for a true Afternoon Tea. As a big fan of Downton Abbey, I appreciate both the lovely photographs and stories.
