This is an adorable book and makes me immediately want to set out on a road trip!! It shows you post cards by states and even tells you that some of the places are still open. If I visit any of the states I will definitely be using this book for places to check out!
I also own two of Joe Sonderman's other books and this is yet another great one! The selection of postcards (more than *450*!) is *superb* and it's quite a treat to peruse this book!
It is great I got one for myself & one for a friend that use to run old 66 from Tulsa to LA back in the day. It brought back a lot of old memories.
Folks who traveled the old Route 66 will enjoy it's memories and those who have not will enjoy what was.
