These cards arrived today in a lovely sturdy box with a "swing-open" lid and a fabric ribbon to allow you to pull out the cards from the depths of the box without strain on them. They are very sturdy for mailing and the graphics are colorful and true to their subjects. I have several of the cookbooks and thrilled to see how faithfully they were represented. I may need a second set to keep just for me to look at. I was not disappointed and I would order again. Very interesting titles covering so many ways of cooking and many nations.
My daughter is a chef and loved these cards!
I bought these because of the good reviews but I think they are cheesy. There is hardly any color and most of the cards are just writing, no images. It's all cookbook related but dull and boring looking. I am very disappointed.
As a collector of cookbooks, I found these charming. Love the sturdy box they came in. Will be fun to dash off quick notes to fellow cookbook friends, or as fillers in my Project Life scrapping. But anyone else finding they want to go find and buy some of these old cookbooks? LOL.
This order arrived a little earlier than I expected which was great. The postcards are great quality card stock and I love the vintage cookbook covers that are featured on them. The product is five stars, the only reason I gave them four is because I ordered two boxes-one came sealed in plastic but the box was a little damaged and the other wasn't wrapped at all, which I thought was a little weird. Other than that I definitely recommend them-great buy!
