Have made a quick scan of the book and have read a couple of chapters of immediate interest. It answered all of my questions about eBay so far.I also purchased the "eBay Business All-In-One for Dummies" (the 9 books in 1 edition) at the same time. The All-In-One had basically the same information (and more) as the "Starting an eBay Business" book. If you are looking for an overall eBay book I would go with the All-In-One book.
Marsha's 4th Edition Starting An eBay Business For Dummies is very well written and easy to understand. I started my day reading some of the book, practice what I had learned on eBay, then end the night by reading some more. Since getting this book my income from eBay has started picking up. I now have more confidence in what I do with eBay. Many thanks Marsha!!
A great book for someone like me who has not done this ever. Easy to read and understand the process.
A good book with lots of info but no matter how you slice it, starting a business on Ebay is just taking a deep breath and moving through thr prompts on the Ebay site. It is complicated at first but gets easier as you go. I could have done it without the book.
Marsha Collier is legendary.The vast amount of research neatly organized into both this and "eBay For Dummies" makes these excellent reference books, though Marsha's treatment of any given subject matter is not boring judging from my reading of random pages here and there.She did perfectly on both of my books Authored by her. I would give her 10 out of 5 stars if mathematically possible.
GREAT information in this book. We started what is now a successful eBay store from the information contained within this book. Ebay changes their policies, practices and expectations of sellers often so be sure to get the latest version of this book.
very helpful to a novice. I have been successfully selling on Ebay and this book gave me the information and confidence to give it a go. And actually this was very easy to read. The author got the irreverence and good information mix of the "Dummies" books down solid.
In the process of reviewing now. It has given me a few websites that have been helpful. As a beginner it has had several helpful tips so far. I feel this is a book that I will use for reference as I continue growing with Ebay .
