But, this book is more of what Joomla can do, and what Joomla has to offer, then a how to use Joomla to build a web site book. This book has a lot of case studies on Joomla, and interviews with Joomla professionals, and demos of different types of sites running Joomla. If you want to know what Joomla can do this book is for you. But, if you're looking for an in-depth book on the ins and outs of how to build a web site using Joomla you'll be disappointed.

The book is about what I expected. I'm still getting into Joomla and haven't gotten far enough to be comfortable with it yet. Nice to have a change from WordPress and find out how another system works.My book arrived kind of dog-earred. That was disappointing when buying a new book and paying for the shipping.
