I have many of these types of coin collecting folders, and this one is so special :) I travel and camp out many times, especially at National and State Parks. Its going to be fun filling up this book over the upcoming years. I ordered the first years coins from , to start my collection and now I'm caught up. Also, the quarters fit very snug in the slots, so they will definitely not fall out. Flipping through the folder you will find official information about the America the Beautiful program and a complete list of each National Park, its home state and year to be minted. It will give you something special to look forward to. Can't wait for the next set :D
Very disappointed! I decided to buy this one because of all the good reviews. Finally I received it a few minutes ago but I had to find out that the quarters don't fit! The holes for the quarters are way too small! Aside from that the inside is just white and not illustrated.
there alot of other national park folders out there, but most of them cost alot more, i wasnt looking to spend alot and this is one of the cheaper albums, but yet it is everything i was looking for. it has the p&d slots for each coin. looks nice and it will probably last forever.
This is a nice folder. Attractive and the quarters fit in easily (so you don't need a hammer to get them in) but also will not fall out easily. Makes it easy to see what quarter is coming next and in what year your own state will appear. I recommend one of these to quarter collectors.
I like that this holds 2 quarters for each park (2 slots, for D & P collectors). But that's it. It is a simple design...nothing fancy. It has a list of which state each park resides in and you will need to know this when you start placing your quarters into the slots. I've added 2 pictures so you can see what I mean.
I got this folder for my granddaughter who is seven years old. I wanted one that would be interesting to her and easy for her to put the quarters in. I was pleased with this folder. After reading the reviews already online, I decided that this one would work. It is very colorful and listed the name of the location plus the state under each quarter slot. The book is a bit thin but I hope it will hold up at least until she is older. She was thrilled with it and can't wait to add quarters.
First off, I thought it was a map. That's my fault for not reading carefully, so no stars dinged for that. Where I do ding stars is that the quarters are really hard to get in! And then almost impossible to get out without damaging the folder.
In addition to the individual holders for the quarters, the folder has good information about the process for selection of sites, the timeline for the distribution of each of the 50 quarters, the process for making them and history of the quarter since 1796. convenient for collectors.
