Quite interesting. As I sit like an addict waiting for their next fix, this book was read very hungrily. Facts were very interesting and fun. A good read for any Game of Throne fan waiting for the next episodes to start.
Are you freakin kidding me? I know three quarters of the answers just from reading the table of contents page!!! After that, I didn't even read anymore of it. I sent it back. I wish I had been smart and read the page online BEFORE I bought it. So, be smart and read the page online first. You will ROFL! The questions are so stupid. Like "Is the trial by combat legal in real life?" Oh my GOT! Or, "Can you buy the wine that they drink on the show?" Do they think that the actors really drink real wine? LOL The answer should be, "No, but you can buy Winterfell beer!"
I liked the photos but I dislike reading words that are spelled wrong. Who edits these books? I really expected more depth and I feel the author is just riding this horse without putting anything of effort into it. Some sentences make no sense.
Here's the thing about these quick Kindle reads, they can be very poorly written and that is very much the case here. All you need to do is click on the "look inside" and read the first two pages. The table of contents does not even use proper grammar. The author either didn't use a decent editor or didn't bother to edit it at all. If an author can't be bothered to form proper sentences, then I will not be bothered to waste a few dollars to read it.Example straight from the table of contents, "Has Game of Thrones made Cersei Lannister rich?" Cersei Lannister is a fictional character!!!! The proper question would be, "Has Game of Thrones made Lena Headey rich?" If the author means to ask if Cersei was ACTUALLY made rich then the name of the show/or books should not be used in that context. Rather the question should be framed, "Has being queen while playing the Game of Thrones made Cersei Lanninster rich?"This is just a lazily constructed "book" by an author cutting corners and trying to make a quick buck. RECOMMEND, move along nothing worth your time or $2.99 here.
I liked most of the facts as some were pleasant surprises. However, a good chunk of the information is recycled from the web. More importantly, it was quite challenging understanding the context of the facts because I was distracted by the simple errors throughout the book.
Nice facts for those of us that like trivia. My only comment is that there are quite a few obvious misspellings and grammatical mistakes. Thanks for the info!
There were some very interesting facts. I really enjoyed the short and to the point remarks. It's like a cool short story of facts.
