I'm at page 120 in book one in the Faber All in One for Adult Piano. This book has several songs above where I'm currently able to play, but there are plenty in there that you can play and enjoy even if you're not done with the first book yet. The first section is the easiest of the three, and is good sight reading practice. I'm having quite a bit of fun playing the songs in the second section. The 12 Days of Christmas and Good King Wenceslaus are my favorites right now and are neither easy nor entirely out of reach with practice and timing. This book rounds out the practices in the Adult series and provides complete songs and not just short themes from longer pieces. I'm glad I purchased this book.
With most piano method Christmas books costing $5.99-7.99 for fewer than 10 songs at one level, this book is one of the best values I've found in my 40 years of piano teaching. For just a few dollars more, you get 30 songs in this book. Because it's an "adult" series book, it contains songs from primer through levels 2-3 of the comparable children's levels, so the student can use it multiple years. I like the annotations that give a brief background of each song, and the accompaniment CD is fun for students to sing or play with (helps them keep a steady tempo and learn to play without correcting mistakes). I use this book with all ages of students.
Good selection of seasonal piano music for a beginner or someone with perhaps 1-3 years training. The 3 sections allow for incremental progression and the 3rd section is in the key of G. I have about 2 years under my belt and could play most of the songs I wanted to play. There were a few songs I never liked or new as a child so I did not play them. Most of the songs were good mainstay music everyone will enjoy and you can sing along, when no one is around of course.
Just discovered this book this year.... love it. Nice assortment, nice arrangements for pianists with a year or so of studies.
Excellent for the adult that's learning to play the piano...Very easy cords to follow and gives you a sense of accomplishment.

This is a great book of music for the holiday season. It is not for the beginner but for the advanced beginner. Fun to have so everyone can sing at the holidays.
