Methodist "megachurch" pastor Adam Hamilton (born 1964) is the senior pastor of the 20,000 member United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas, the largest United Methodist congregation in the United States. He has written other books such as Making Sense of the Bible: Rediscovering the Power of Scripture Today, When Christians Get It Wrong, Why?: Making Sense of God's Will, etc. This 2011 book is a supplement to his book The Journey: Walking the Road to Bethlehem and its accompanying video The Journey DVD with Leader Guide: Walking the Road to Bethlehem.He wrote in the Introduction, "Since there is a book and a series of videos, you might ask what need there is for a book of reflections. That was the question I asked my editor. His resonse: 'Think of the reflections as a chance to sit down one-on-one with the reader, as if the two of you were having a conversation over a cup of coffee.
