I bought this for my soon to be 7-year-old niece who was adopted from China when she was 8 months old. She s a delightful child whose parents very much want her to know and appreciate her culture of origin. Chin has a way of making the stories fun and meaningful. As this (2013) is the Year of the Snake, I thought it would be fun for Erin to read.
