I am a congregational president who REALLY needed an instructional book that could give me 1) an overview 2) as well as some pointers and how to do X. This book was perfect. It is practical, to the point, and doesn't waste you time with detail after detail so that you cannot find the forest for the trees. There is a clear path.This book is ideal for 1) the small or startup church or 2) the church that has been around for 50+ years and has picked up a bunch of bad habits. I will leave you to guess which is true in our case.
This book is a must have for all preachers and church staff. The information and format is helping and interesting all at the same time. This is by far the most informative book I've ran across. It should be standard reading material for the deacons, secretarys, preachers, and all the church volunteers. Thank you Lisa London, Vickey Boatright, and Terressa Pierce for your insight and the willingness to share it.
I give Church Accounting 5 out of 5 stars. It was very informative, easy to navigate, and easy enough for everyday people to understand. It was extremly helpful, I'd recomend it to anyone.

We bought this book along with the "Quickbooks for Churches" book. While some things pertained to bigger churches, this has helped us set up guideline in our finances.
A very professional guide. I was impressed. My wife is an experienced accountant, but had no experience with church-related finances. She seemed to find it helpful.
There is a tremendous amount of needed and otherwise useful information in this book. After reading through this book, Church accounting makes so much more sense now.
