My daughter is 4 years old, and she has been potty trained since 2.5 years old. When I read this book to her, her face lit up light Christmas. She was so proud that she already knows how to go and is considered a big girl. The book is great reinforcement because she is always great at going, but she still has to be reminded from time to time to flush and wash her hands. I recommend this book for toddlers to 6 year olds. Lastly, I loved the 3 tips at the end. Great book for your little person's library!

This is a cute book that parents, caretakers or day care workers might want to use to introduce little girls to potty training. The simple text outlines the steps before, during and after visiting the potty. It reminds the child about washing hands and the benefits of being a grown-up girl who is rewarded with her very own underwear. Illustrations are big, bold and appropriate. Makes a perfect gift from grandparents who want to provide encouragement as well!

The illustrations are super cute and I think it explains the potty training very well to a toddler. We started potty training 3 months ago and sometimes it works and sometimes it's like starting from zero. We haven't read any books regarding this subject yet but I will try with this one and see how it goes with my almost 3 year old. I'm sure she will love it! It's very cute and well explained!

This is the girl version of the "potty books". If you have a child (a girl) who is trying to learn to be potty trained, then this is a great book to sit down with her and read to her and show her the pictures. Or if you know someone in that situation, get this book for them. I think it would really help. The pictures are cute and the child will love it.

I read this with my two year old, and she sat through the whole book. The pictures are delightful and the text is lovely and simple and to the point. A great little book to start introducing the potty idea.

So simple, that any little girl that reads this book will get it! I guess that's why it wasn't written any earlier. I love how the Author was able to make this a fun to read story and educational at the same time. :)

Big Girl Potty by Mary LeeCover Art: Cute!I highly recommend this adorable book to start introducing the 'potty' trainingidea. The writing is brilliant with delightful illustrations.

This is a sweet book for girls (and their parents) about learning to use the potty as part of becoming a "big girl". It is simple, but clever in that it tells the story of a girl learning to use the potty, in a series of simple messages and steps that other parents can run through with their own kids, and finishes the story with words of encouragement from the girl in the story to others who may be about to take that step. After the story there are then words of sound advice for parents of children who are at this stage. I would recommend this to the parents of any young girls who are about to start, or in the throes of, potty training. Maybe a similar book for boys next? By way of full disclosure, I received a free review copy of this book, but no other compensation
