“Snarky” is the perfect word to describe this book! As a high school teacher, I come home with plenty of stress and plenty of stories every day. Every bell brings a new adventure… or… more likely, a “mis-adventure”. Quite regularly afterschool, some of my teacher friends and I get together and moan and groan about the day and share laughs, tears and stories. Since adult coloring books are supposed to be stress relievers, I picked this up to help aide in maintaining our sanity! It was offered to me at a discounted price in exchange for my fair and unbiased review.There is nothing better than carefully cutting out a page or three and passing the colored pencils around the table while we regale each other with our stories of the day. It really helps to do a mundane activity like coloring during our moan and groan sessions. They are negative in a cute and funny way. It is enough to give you a chuckle, while not too negative to perpetuate any stress you have going on.The quality of the book itself is really nice. The black of the ink is nice and dark and the mandala designs are difference on each page. The font for the smart ass sayings are different, too. Nice variety and great designs.Grab some colored pencils, a few good friends and a good bottle of wine and enjoy this book! I really think the coloring helps get out some stress and anxiety. Its like your brain goes into “auto” mode while coloring and maintaining whatever else youre’ doing at the same time (chatting, listening to music, etc). Before I knew it, I had a couple beautiful and snark-a-licious messages; some that are frame worthy!There are dozens more hilarious phrases worth a laugh and relaxation. Seriously – hours and hours worth of fun – for the cost of one happy hour drink!
This is a wonderful coloring book! It's snarky and funny, and the mandalas are beautiful to color. There are 38 coloring pages which are very thick and one-sided, so you can use whatever medium (marker, pencil, paint, etc.) you would like to fill in your artwork without worrying that it will bleed or punch through to the other side.It arrived on time and was packaged just fine. The only complaint I have is the cover was bent in the envelope (probably during packaging); however, it doesn't effect the coloring pages so I don't really care and it doesn't affect my opinion of this book. I highly recommend purchasing if you are interested in a high quality book and enjoy a little snark now and again.*I received this product at a discount in exchange for my fair and honest review.
