I have tried various pie crusts recipes over the years but never got it right. The crusts recipes given in the set seems simple and instructions were good enough to get started right away. I have tried the You'll go ape-ricot pie. The results were great for the first try itself. My crust was tender and flaky. I will never make the crusts the old way again. I liked the authors style of writing. It was very engaging. There is a note at the end of each recipes which includes additional tips. I am happy to try the muffin and cookie recipes as well.
