This isn't an 'Ultimate Guide' to anything. He lists a few tools and a general idea of pen testing, but at best this is just material to read while your waiting in a doctor's office or anything. You wont learn anything except the name of a few tools. I think the author really understates the need to learn computer programming AND general scripting. He doesn't explain that when you gain access to a box, you might not be able to use your tools so you need to know how to write them on the fly. Also Wireshark is not a tool for hacking. It is a packet analyzer that sometimes gets used as a hacking tool. Most professionals have already written their own specific packet analyzer so they can inject packets which Wireshark cant.
This is pretty much a joke. The book is poorly written. It's poorly edited.The reviews are all fake. One review talks about how they can understand C code better because of the book. The book only mentions that C is a good language to know. That's it! The recommended tools are on every security site known to man. There is nothing useful here. Read the reviewers other reviews before you buy this book. The best hack is getting people to buy it.
This book is a great guide if you want to learn the ethical thing in hacking. The proper way in doing it and what are the hints to access someones email and password are explained well here. Everything you need to know to master hacking are detailed here. A highly recommended book especially to computer addict.
This book is for the security pro or would be hacker who want's to begin to see how deep the rabbit hole really does go. There is no other book like it on the market, and I've read most of them. The techniques described in this book are fundamental to any hacker or security professional who takes their work seriously.Each example in the programming section is truly an eye opener if you are new to hacking.
You'll develop a better understanding of ethical hacking via web searching. If new to hacking, and truly interested in pursuing the path, don't look for anything useful from two dollar books like this. This is a very weak PDF, misguided and lacks accurate info.Funny that the word "ethical" is in the title, spotted bogus paid reviewers that wrote abstract garble for this book and others.

Informative book and very useful.After reading this book, I found it very helpful and useful for beginners who wants to be a hackers. We will learnt different techniques and procedures to be an effective hackers.
