This is absolutely beautiful! The cover itself is gorgeous. It feels very high quality. Each one of these pictures could easily be framed and hung. I love the simple, easy to color pictures. This would make a great gift for old and young alike! This completely exceeded my expectations! Each picture is one sided with a pretty, dark print on the backside. So you don't have to sacrifice one picture to color another. There's 2 of every verse, one in white, one in black. Yesterday I received the Proverb Coloring Book I had ordered in the mail and I couldn’t be more excited. Why am I excited over a coloring book you ask? Because this means I get two great passions of my life in one sitting, The Bible and coloring. I will tell you that I thought this whole coloring book fad would be a gimmick and that it would not catch on but was I way off.First off, this sucker came fast! I mean I ordered it and it was to me in two days flat, and it was a Sunday! The maker of this book, Inspired to Grace, was smart to partner with Prime because not only do you receive the product in two days flat, but you also gain the confidence that should something go wrong you are protected by ’s amazing customer service. As for the book, it came in a flat package that was shrink wrapped to ensure it got to me safely with no tears, or bends. I actually was pretty impressed because I have gotten books from before and none of those were as well packaged as this book was.As for the book itself, it is a basic soft cover book filled with lots of pages to color. There a several pages that have a black background and areas to fill in with color. These pages will be special because having the black background will make the colors seem more vibrant and pop off the page. Each page has something devoted to our one true God which I love. I bought this for my daughter but she may receive it with a few pages already colored in. This really is a great book, and I see that they offer several other books and I just may have to pick up some more for stocking stuffers. The quality of this coloring book is not like the others in the store and you will be glad that you bought it, I know that I am.*** Please note that I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. ***
Color The Proverbs: Inspired To Grace: Christian Coloring Books: Day & Night: A Unique White & Black Background Bible Verse Adult Coloring BookI own four coloring books in this series. Like the others, I love this one! Each verse is printed with a white background and then with a black background.I have used watercolor pencils, prismas, markers, and alcohol markers in my books. The pages are smooth, but not slick. The absorb too much to use alcohol markers. The flair markers showed minimal bleed through. I usually use a sheet of cardstock behind my coloring page to prevent impression on the page behind.I am attaching some pages I am working on. I used prismas on the circles. I used watercolor pencils and a WET brush on the squares. The brush was a bit stiff and a bit too wet for this paper. The paper warped a little.I received this book at a discount in exchange for offering my review. I am delighted with my purchase!
