I purchased this textbook for my Database Management course. The description states that this book is ideal for new students; I would highly disagree. As the other reviewer mentioned, the textbook is complex and tends to ramble on. Had the author simply gotten to the point in each chapter, the book may have been more useful.
I bought this book as it was referred by the Professor. I found it complex and verbose. It requires second reading to capture and remember the concepts explained.
