I bought it earlier in the summer. I had lots of company and made Margarita's - everyone wanted to know where I got the book - I was afraid that it would turn up "missing". We had so much fun with the receipes -definitely worth buying.
Great little book! I purchase this and one other in the series to give in a basket as a birthday gift. Nice compact size and great photos of the various drinks. The books in this series would make great Christmas stocking stuffers!
I've come across a cool little set of four books on potent potables that would be sure to ramp up the fun at your next gathering. "Just Tropical Drinks: A Little Book of Liquid Paradise" (124 pp.)"Just Margaritas: A Little Book of Liquid Sunshine" (124 pp.), "Just Shots: A Little Book of Liquid Fun" (124 pp.) and "Just Martinis: A Little Book of Liquid Elegance" (138 pp.) each retail at $9.95 and come from publisher Lyons Press. All are written by Cheryl Charming with outstanding photographs by Susan Bourgoin.What you will really enjoy about these books is how the author and photographer have collaboratively produced books that are highly informative and beautifully illustrated. The drink recipes in each are easy to follow and the author goes into detail in each book's introductory chapter to describe to necessary ingredients, techniques and paraphernalia. Each recipe is then complimented by a full-color, full-page photograph.I really liked the books as a group, but you can also just get the one(s) of your choice if there's any of the four topics that don't appeal to you.
