At last―a high-quality full-color boxed set of Krampus postcards. Each of the twenty-four numbered collectible postcards features a dazzling full-color scene of Krampus and is printed on 4 x 8 inch sturdy card stock. In the early Christmas folklore of Europe, Krampus was St. Nikolaus' dark servant―a hairy, horned, supernatural beast whose pointed ears and long, slithering tongue gave misbehavers the creeps! Whereas St. Nickolaus would reward children who'd been good all year with small gifts and treats, those who had behaved badly were reprimanded by Krampus! This set includes misbehaving adults too. Get them while they last. All images are culled from vintage, pre-WWI Krampus postcards found in Monte Beauchamp’s two Krampus books, “Krampus, the Devil of Christmas” (2010), and “The Devil in Design: the Krampus Postcards” (2004), which started the Krampus craze that is sweeping America. Images from Beauchamp’s books have been featured on “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” and “Supernatural.“

Oh, yaaaas!!! These are 24 heavy stock, totally awesomely creepy vintage illustrations to scare the bejeezus out of any naughty person on your list. Each card has a different illustration, and the quality of card stock is excellent. The box they came in is also very good quality, and would make a great gift itself. These arrived quickly and in great condition, without being over packaged.
Oh. Em. Gee. Okay, so I've loved loved LOVED the Krampus for years. I've always been so sad that there hasn't been more Krampus inspired holiday cards when the season arrived. I am so incredibly stoked that the Krampus has finally gained some recognition and that I was able to purchase these and send some out for Xmas. Now, I am aware that I am posting this review AFTER the holidays, but honestly - these are so great I truly believe you can send them whenever! I'm an avid snailmailer and postcrosser so I'm sure I'll still be using these in the months to come. Specifics, standard postcard size, nice sturdy stock and NO duplicates, which is a bummer because I would have liked to keep some/send some, lol. Guess I'll just buy another set! Oh - pics are of what I haven't mailed yet. Sorry! But hey, now at least some can be a surprise. :-)
Postcards are the best way to enjoy Krampus, and this is an incredible set to treasure! These are stunning reproductions printed on heavy card stock - and this set, like the originals, is sure to be sought after someday.
Cool bunch of cards! Krampus is scary/funny and I got lots of compliments for sending these out. Comes in a neat little box and the cards are a fun mix.
