3D printing is new. We are all interested in it.However, it seems so distant from 2D stuff we are used to.I am from a generation where fax was new and people were using still using electric type writers/PC was new.Now, 2D printers are cheap and we are getting into the age of mass produced 3D printing.And it is a must for all of us to know what it is and how to use it.Well this book does exactly that. Even though this book helped me understand much about 3D printing, even more than Youtube videos,it still covered very rudiementary content. If you are more interested in this technology, I suggest you do more research based on the suggestions made by the author.There seems to be a lot of programs that are out there that enable you to print 3D.I can only think of a hnadful, but applications are innumerable.
This is only 22 pages of general info with a link at the end to entice you to join a mailing list. It has been free, and I guess if you want a very short free book, that's ok, but reading Wikipedia is probably about as informative. Each of the 4 "chapters" is perhaps 3 or 4 pages of a real book long at most.The rest is filler (copyright, table of contents, etc.). There is a paragraph about some of the different kinds of 3D printing. A very short chapter on workflow (make a cad model and print it), and suggestions to use Google sketch up. Virtually no technical content.
Poorly written and skimpy. Definitely not a "bible" by any stretch of the imagination. Save your time and your money!
This isn't really a book. It is a very poorly written summary( it is possible that English isn't the native language of the author) that never rises above high school level. Not only is it very short, it is mostly filler to achieve the few pages. The sad thing is that it is just a waste of time. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to open it, glance through it, and come to the realization that it is not a real book at all. The few 4 and 5 star reviews must have been posted by the author or his shills.
I’ve heard a lot about 3D printing and decided to see what the fuss is about. Then I came across this book and bought it. As the subtitle says this book will you everything you need to know about 3D printing. It explains what it is, shows the history of 3D printing, gives overview of different printing technologies and describes the process. I think that this is a very informative book and I would recommend it to you if you’re new to it and would like to learn what it is.
I'm assuming this is intended is a joke. The "book" contains about 6 pages called "chapters", purporting to be "Everything You need to know about 3D printing". You can read it in less than 5 minutes and while not badly written, it is information you can find with a cursory search of Wikipedia.
Another ebook author who throws out cut and paste information from the web with the intentions of making a quick buck off of people. This book is worthless, it is nothing but freely available information that you can get off of a multitude of websites, and on top of that, the formatting is terrible.Get what you pay for I guess, do not waste your money or time downloading this worthless book.
