I have a signed copy from the author, because about 20 years ago she worked for me at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center on remote sensor calibration. I thought this little book was excellent. It is a brief but thorough introduction to remote sensing with drones. It is well referenced with 1 to 3 solved examples in chapters 2, through 6. Even the appendices are useful. I thought it was shameful that didn't have a cover image for the book so I took one in my office (hope is comes out ok). Oh yes, calculus is utilized, but then again calculus should be familiar to all in my opinion. Great little volume by a gifted optical engineer.
