such a deep and wise book for everyone to read and read and read. It's something most of us need to practice and perfect. such a necessary book. If as the bible says, "they will know us by our love", then we have much to work on. In a culture where disconnect is the norm, we need that which will bring us back into the knowledge of love and connection, in spite of others actions. This is a book that teaches to love and walk in the spirit of God as one action......I keep giving this away and having to buy another book. I will need to re read this often and work to put it into practice...
In my opinion this is one of the most relevant books on relationships I have ever read. This book carefully lays out why relationships work and why they don't. Danny brings his 25 years of experience in counseling couples and individuals on how to have extraordinary relationships show up in your life. He also shares healing and developing relationships of every kind. Thank you Danny and Shari for your powerful work. This is truly a masterpiece.
I love this book. You could read this and then reread it and reread it again. so many good tips and reminders, and God just shows up and challenges you each time you read it. You can never hear too many times the reminder to keep your love on. We did this as a small group at church, and it is so good for so many different life situations, it applies in every situation. Love Danny Silk and love this book.
Great for average relationships, needs more on destructive or abusive ones. What connection looks like, setting boundaries, safety, etc. Or at least a caveat. There's next to nothing. Dangerous if you're looking for real help.
Danny makes things so clear. I like the stories from real life and his thoughts about them. This study guide to go along with the book and watching the DVDs has given me a lot of clarity in how to implement his ideas in my relationships. Thank you, Danny!!!
Terrific follow-on to the book. Really gets one to thinking plus a good review of what I had just finished. Also handy to go back and read my comments without re-reading the whole book.

Oh how I wish every person Christian or non Christian would read this book and apply it. No doubt there would be fewer divorces , family squabbles and estranged relationships. The world would most definitely be a better and happier place. Easy read and understanding.
