Since 1902, the Teddy Bear has touched peoples lives. He has lived out our dreams, our hopes and our fears with us. He has comforted us in times of war and economic depression, he has accompanied soldiers, flown sorties with pilots, sailed on board the ill fated ship Titanic and raced in the fastest of cars, breaking land speed records. The Teddy Bear reminds us constantly of our childhood, of happy days spent at the seaside, of growing up, of lost loves and realised dreams. This book looks into the lives of a number of Teddy Bears and briefly talks of their origins. It reminds us of the importance of the Teddy Bear in our everyday lives.

I loved this book. I love teddy bears and I have a lot of them. This book was great and I loved the pictures. The information was incredible. I am doing a project about teddy bears in school and this book gave me a lot of information to use for it. I loved this book, and I reccomend it to anyone who loves teddy bears and/or collects them.

This is a great companion to all things Teddy Bear. This book talks directly about the companies, defunct and current who are involved in the Teddy Bear world. It covers each one with a story, but in greater detail than in Teddy Bears and Me. It focuses on what made the makers successfull, which bears are great for collections and quite a lot of the bears that were famous made by these companies. This, in my opinion, is a great book to read for fun, a gaining of knowledge, or great as a field guide when collecting or looking for Teddy Bears. If you are on the hunt for Teddy Bear Literature, then look no further than the book Teddy Bears.
