The front cover says 'Free Patterns', but there's only one inside, the smaller yellow bear on the cover. The bear is night, but I think the head gusset is too side and I would adjust accordingly. The instructions are very clear and the material inside is handled extremely well. There are plenty of color pictures of other bears for reference and inspiration, and constructions steps are well documented. While not a vital teddy bear book for your collection, it's a very nice one that I'm not sorry I bought.
this book is so much fun to read, even if you never make a teddy bear, but if you do, the patterns and directions are complete and easy to follow
