A very good and complete book covering everything for the restorer of ceramics. Would've given 4 and a half stars if possible. The half a star off is because I still had unanswered questions after reading the book and because there is some professional mumbo jumbo in there I don't understand.But on the whole, just a good book.
This book is not for the beginner - wordy - could have used more pictures as examples. There are some good tips though and was well worth my money. Hopefully I will be able to do simple repairs. Lots of products I have never heard of and probably won't be able to get locally and will have to order everything. Would have preferred a nice list of supplies needed or required. Still reading and haven't tried any repairing as of yet.
This book is very good. I have been repairing dolls and other items for years and I decided to have a look at another book and found this very informative as it deals with aspects of repair that are not noted in other books.As a reference book it is very good.

The book is geared to a UK audience which makes sources of repair materials not very useful. Did get some tips about repair in general from it..
