A great book for recipes as well as general knowledge about spirits and cocktails. Written in a very informal and friendly manner, it's an easy and entertaining read. Much more than a list of drink recipes. I highly recommend it to professionals and enthusiasts alike!
Yes, this is a great little bartender book. Actually more information than I expected, because it isn't just recipes for shopping for ingredients and mixing, it is recipes to make your own mixes if you want to, such as a recipe for bitters. If you really want to get into mix drinks, this will be a great help.
Strictly short recipes, black on white. No photos, no colors, not much inspiration for an amateur like me but was a perfect gift for a conoisseur like the hubby.
Great book! I wish it had a more detailed description of each of the spirits. I know I can Google it, but then again, I just expected a little more. Recipes are great, numerous and we'll described. The whole book is really great in general.
