I have been looking for something to do with my cast iron skillet besides making crepes and now I have it! Thanks for so many delicious and interesting recipes. We had the brussels sprouts and carrots in creamy sauce last night and even the kids liked it! Also, love the baked potato and bacon rolls as a appetizer - YUM! Thanks!
It's been some time since I pulled out my cast iron skillet. I used to use it all the time. When I saw this recipe collection, I decided to pull it out of the back of the cabinet and start using it again. There's a nice variety of recipes within the sections of breakfast, dinner. and dessert. I never thought about making a dessert with my skillet. I love spinach, so the Pancakes with Spinach from Latvia is on my list, and I'm a huge fan of marinated mushrooms. Check out the recipe from Macedonia. The apple dessert from Tunisia is really calling: chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, apples and eggs; and, it's quick, too--five minutes. Ready to try more recipes,. especially that Champurado dessert that is a drink from Mexico.
