Although I'm a senior, I'm more tech savvy than most as I've been in the tech business my entire career. I chose the senior version of "My Samsung Galaxy S6" over it's similar title for a few reasons. I liked the physical size of the book better, as well as the fonts and image size for comfortable reading. The material was very well laid out and easily followed. You could jump anywhere into the book to read about a feature without having to base it on earlier information. The only downside to the reasons I like the book is that this format limits the amount of advanced or lesser known features of the phone. For most seniors, however, this wouldn't matter as the book contains probably far more than they typically would ever need to know. So, Yes! I would highly recommend this book and not just for seniors.
I bought three different manuals for the Samson Galaxy S6 that I recently purchased. This books was, by far, the best. Very easy, step-by-step insturctions, with lots of photos. Just what I needed.
Love this book! Much better than the Samsung Users Manual. Nice illustrations and written so people can understand it. I even shared one new piece of information with the Verizon store employee!
OK. I'm not considering myself actually a senior as opposed to older adult but I decided to get this AARP endorsed book after reading a lot of reviews about it and others. We know we can make do without ever using our "computerized talking devices" in all ways possible and go on dreading the usually inevitable replacement where we become inept again! I decided to learn more by reading this bible. I've only read bits and learned some useful things already. The book gently nudges you into upping your inner techie. But - of course - there's a Galaxy 7 now. Arrrrrrggggh!
Great book for the uninitiated technology deficit folks. Explains most all features in good detail. Wish there were better explanations of camera modes, what each one does and when to use them. Otherwise fine for thee price..
Find this book very easy to read and useful.
