I truly enjoyed reading, "Unto the Least of These". I would suggest one thing.. get a notebook, to write down all of the awesome truths and helps in this book. You will want to go back and read them. When I read about being in a deep pit. I could relate from the very beginning. I experienced this deep pit in my life. It took me quite a while to find someone, who was equipped to help me get out. My children were left without a full time father, when they were very young. I saw the woundedness all the way to their adulthood. My son seemed to be more wounded. I feel he went to be with the Lord too early, because of this deep woundedness. This book really ministered to me. I am encouraged by reading this book. It really makes you stop and think about the widows, the fatherless and all the hurting people in the world. It gives hope to every person.. No matter how wounded we have been in the past.. Jesus loves us and we are not rejects. Because of what we have gone through.. the key here to me is gone through, to the other side. We can help others and we will begin to reach out and help others.. Recently, I began to reach out, after so many years for help, healing, for God's word to be allowed to shine on my woundedness and to be able to walk in freedom from fear. I refuse to walk in fear any longer. I choose to be totally set free from all bondage.. I will only look back to see where I have come from. ("If you have never dealt wit childhood wounding in your spirit, then it is very much as issue in the (your) present.") (Nathan Shaw) This is so true!! ("Even if we address issues from the past and find healing in Christ, we are not through. We have to remain alert. After past issues have been resolved, the enemy still uses our mistakes and victories to hold us back.
