My 7 year old daughter loves these Garfield Fat Cat 3-packs. She has been spending at least an hour each evening soaking in the lasagna loving cat comics. One item to note is that pack #10, 11 and 12 are slightly less tall books and are in black and white. The others have been in color.
Bought for my son who was never a big reader until he discovered the Garfield series. I ended up buying every one I could find and have never regretted it. He is an avid reader to this day. He is now 20 years old.
Fun, lovable book! Just a heads up that this "fat pack" is in black and white. My daughter LOVES Garfield so it wasn't a problem, but don't expect it to be in color like the larger bundle books. Great buy at a great price.
Garfield is special to me, so when my student that I tutor said he loved Garfield, I went searching for Garfield things. This pack reminded me of my husband's love for the books. My student loved the gift!
This fat cat 3-pack (like the others) is not only entertaining to read (like the others), but it is also a great reference book of Garfield comics (like the others), because from the point the book starts to the point it ends it has every daily comic in the order they were in the newspaper without skipping any days.
With "The Great One" Charles Schultz's passing (RIP Mr. Schultz and thank you!), this leaves Garfield as the only current comic strip that remains consistantly funny. This review is a pretty universal review for all of the books. If you're a Garfield fan and you don't have them: Get them!!!
I got this from Barns And Noble, the bookstore in Burlington, that is the biggest city in Vermont. I have read it ever since. Again and again. Over and over. My favorite one is when Garfield swims from the fishing boat that Jon is fishing from. It also showed the sun setting. I liked that. Too bad it wasn't in color. Overall, I would give it four stars. It could be better. But it is what it is.
Great book! It was a great buy and if you're thinking of buying it, don't hesitate! Garfield makes me laugh a lot from his attidude and his interest in all the things that people love to do.
